Catching Up With Old Friends

Finally, I got out of the house to socialize today.  Some friends of mine that go to school across the country are in town so we met up at Epic Cafe for cake and chai teas.  One of them I haven't seen since graduation almost 4 years ago.  It was a lot of fun to just sit and chat and discuss the old days, obnoxious and weird people in our class, and that one super attractive guy we all had a crush on.
We walked up and down 4th Ave, which is a place anyone visiting Tucson, AZ should check out.  The thrift shops are as funky as ever and the people as free spirited as you would hope them to be.  I picked up some Patchouli incense and a new bumper sticker from the Hippie Gypsy and we walked all the way up and down the avenue.
Afterwards we walked down University Ave and sat for a chat outside Joel's Bistro, a great french restaurant.
It was nice to see them and hopefully I'll see them again before we all go back to school.
